Jeff Gore Scholarship Fund

Jeff had a big personality, believed in praying big, and had a big generous heart! He once passed a trash bag around at a sales meeting and raised $30,000 for a children’s homeless shelter in the downtown Atlanta area! He was a friend to everyone and everyone knew about his big faith in his big God! His favorite verse is 1 Chronicles 29:11-12 which says:

Everything in the heavens and earth is yours, O Lord, and this is your kingdom. We adore you as being in control of everything. Riches and honor come from you alone, and you are the ruler of all mankind; your hand controls power and might, and it is at your discretion that men are made great and given strength.

Jeff was a big fan of Karen and Greg, so it is with great honor that we came up with the scholarship for deserving mommas! Take heart ladies, for you are raising the next generation that will be “made great and given strength” at God’s discretion!

In 2009 Jeff lost his battle with colon cancer and is survived by his wife, Lori, and their two sons, Caleb and Sammy. Lori donates scholarship money every year to BOAW in loving memory of her husband Jeff, to honor his heart for what God is doing in this world.

All scholarship money for Soar 2018 has been distributed. We can not wait to see you August 17 and 18!

Because of people like you, we can have an even greater impact!

Birds on a Wire is grateful for the continued support of the Jeff Gore Scholarship Fund which allows Moms to attend Birds on a Wire events at reduced cost.
