The #1 Tool in your Mama Toolbox

When there’s a constant conflict happening in your house it is frustrating! Sometimes it’s siblings who can’t get along or maybe it’s a recurring argument you are having with one particular child. Maybe the conflict is happening in your marriage! When there’s a clash going on in your home, remember these four things:

  1. Take a step back and observe the situation. When does it happen? What’s the source of the conflict? Is it situational or personality driven?

  2. Be a student of your child. What is their personality color? What is their love language? Does that play into this situation?

  3. PRAY! Moms, prayer is the #1 tool in your mama toolbox. Don’t ever underestimate prayer. It’s your not-so-secret weapon. Pray and ask God to give you wisdom. Pray for the filling of the Holy Spirit so you can produce all the fruit in your parenting, especially patience!

  4. Keep fighting. Don’t give up on your kid or on the situation. Keep in mind you are running a marathon not a sprint, don’t stop!
