She will share the history of white flour and its effects on our health, as she discusses the correlation of the bread we eat and common health issues that plaque most of us. The facts given are Biblically based and scientifically proven. Sue’s presentation is both informative and encouraging.

Elizabeth Pehrson

Founder of The Exchange

Elizabeth is a skilled speaker who delivers high energy presentations that challenge women to be more intentional with this one beautiful life we have been given.  Audiences love her humor and storytelling, as well as her practical strategies they can apply in their daily lives. She loves Jesus and meaningful connections. She is the wife to the most patient man on the planet.  And when she is not meeting with women, you can find her NOT running.

Oh, and did we mention she has eight children - ages 25,24,23,21,20,19,17 and 14??? She has learned a thing or two about parenting, (mostly from her mistakes). And because our daily parenting impacts up to seven generations, she is passionate about helping moms intentionally raise their children with the end goal in mind.

Break Out Talk: Long Game Parenting

There is no such thing as a perfect parent, but there are Biblical principles and practical ways that we can parent to the best of our abilities with the END GOAL in sight. Most moms see the finish line at year eighteen, but Elizabeth is going to challenge us to push that out much further. And in doing so, see how that impacts our daily parenting decisions. And because the real test of parenting is not what our children achieve, but who they become — and how they treat others, we will cover topics like chores, discipline, life skills, character development, doing less for you children, and so much more! Being a mom is not only the greatest responsibility we will ever have but also the greatest legacy we will ever leave. That is why it is so crucial to parent for the LONG GAME.

Becoming a mom opens the door to a whole new world of worry, what-if’s and worse case scenarios. And if we’re not careful, we can get stuck in that space, consumed by fear. After all, some of those things could actually happen, right? So, what are we supposed to do? And where is God in all of it?
