WT 267: Finding Your Purpose in Motherhood with Candace Cameron Bure [RE-AIR]
We've got a fun one for you today moms! Today we are joined in the Nest by Candace Cameron Bure, actress, wife, mom, and as she often points out, first and foremost, a follower of Jesus. We love Candace's words of encouragement for young mothers and think that wherever you are in your journey of motherhood, you'll benefit from the reminder in this conversation that our primary purpose in all that we do is to glorify God.

Questions we asked Candace:
Question 1: If my math is correct you weren’t married long before you started having kids! I mean, you were DJ Tanner, an American icon during the Full House years and then that show ended in 1995 and you got married in 1996 and started having kids. Talk about a rapid change of lifestyle! Was it hard to leave that identity behind and become immersed in the world of motherhood?
Question 2: You have a brand new book coming out that we were excited to get our hands on an early copy of called Kind is the New Classy. In it you talk a lot about purpose and passion - what would you say to the mom who would say she is so overwhelmed with the day to day busyness of raising kids that she can’t even think past dinner time, let alone think about things like purpose and passion?
Question 3: How did you make the decision to re-enter the entertainment world and what effect did it have on your family?
Question 4: I feel like it’s easy for moms to focus on what they don’t think they are doing well or to compare themselves to other moms, when you look back over the past 20 years of parenting specifically, what are the things you think you did well? Is there anything that you really worried over as a younger mom that looking back now, you can see, oh that was just small stuff!?
Question 5: What’s one practical thing you think the moms listening can do today to lean into their God-given purpose as a mom in the season they are in right now?
