WIRE TALK CO-HOST

Meet Emily

Emily is a proud Auburn grad and former 3rd-grade teacher who now spends her days as a stay-at-home mom to three awesome kids and hosting the Wire Talk podcast. As Karen’s daughter, she brings a fun, fresh perspective to every conversation. She’s also firmly convinced that coffee is one of God’s greatest gifts, and her favorite moments are the ones spent connecting with people she loves over a warm cup.

WIRE TALK CO-HOST

Meet Karen

Karen Stubbs is the founder and heart behind Birds on a Wire. As a speaker, author, and creator of the Wire Talk podcast, she shares practical, biblical wisdom that feels more like coffee with a friend than a sermon.

Karen’s heart for moms began during her years as a Navy wife—raising four kids while Greg was off flying fighter jets. During that season, her faith in God deepened and her passion to support other moms grew. She learned that even though parenting is hard, God is faithful—and she could depend on Him every step of the way.

Karen and her husband, Greg, have been married 39 years and are proud parents to four grown kids—Kelsey, Emily, Taylor, and Abby—and grandparents to seven (with more on the way!). Karen loves her cockapoo Barkley, early lunches, and traveling just about anywhere with friends or family.
