WT 170: Surviving (and Thriving!) As A Single Mom
Two single moms, Misty Paige and Michelle Lane, join Karen and Sunny on today’s episode to answer your questions, share their hearts, and discuss their experiences as single parents. Listen to hear how they grew as they journeyed from being single moms to young children, to watching those well-adjusted children leave their nests. We hope this encourages your heart whether you are parenting on your own, or have single moms in your circle of friends.

Questions Answered on this Episode:
As a single mom, how do I find balance between keeping everything together, staying sane and giving my kids the time (of me) that they need without feeling? I feel like I am always torn and failing daily?
“My ex-husband pays child support and I have a full-time job, however even with that… my children’s father and step-mother have a much higher (and more disposable) income than I do. I want to give my kids the same gifts and vacations that my ex can, but I just can’t. How do I manage the feelings of guilt and failure I have because of this?”
“I trust and pray that I’ll get to experience marriage again someday – but I feel like I can barely keep my chaotic life as a single mom with 2 kids running. What advice do you have on beginning to date again? My children are in elementary school… should I wait for our lives to calm down as they get older?”
